I am head over heels in love with these newborn photos! This was a beautiful mom and baby session at my newborn studio in Conroe, Texas. It was a delight to welcome this mother and son to my studio space and to capture mom’s love for her little one.
We kept the color scheme for most of these newborn photos very neutral. Doing all white kept things simple and absolutely gorgeous. We also did several black-and-white images–which I love. They are always classic, elegant, and timeless. Completely in keeping with the style I aim for!
We scheduled this session near Christmas, so our one departure from the subtle color scheme was to use my red chair for a few of our shots! I bring this chair out for the holidays to use for annual pictures with Santa. (Be sure to check out the latest Santa pictures here if you missed them. They turned out so cute!) Baby boy looked so adorable curled up on Santa’s over-sized armchair. The red also tied these photos in nicely with the pictures from mom’s maternity session.
One of the best parts of doing newborn photos is capturing the special place a new infant has in the hearts of family members. I loved photographing mom and baby together as she cradled her sweet boy. There is no love like a mother’s love!
It was so exciting to finally meet the little man! As I mentioned, I did mom’s maternity session before he arrived, so it was great to record both before and after his birth. (If you’d like to see the gorgeous images from the maternity session, you can check them out here.)

I offer newborn sessions at my photography studio and also offer themed, outdoor, or at-home newborn lifestyle sessions. You’re welcome to meet with me beforehand to discuss your vision for your newborn photos. After the session, I carefully hand edit every image in your gallery. Once your gallery is edited, we’ll meet again so you can see your finished images and order products. Whichever option you choose, you will end up with beautiful artwork of your new little one.
