I had to post this sneak peek today from the twin boys’ newborn session! Looks how sweet they are!!!
Twin Boys | A Newborn Session with SRJP
New moms, especially with twin babies, are often unsure of what to do when scheduling a newborn photography session. Here are a few common questions:
Do You Come to My House or Do We Come to the Studio?
This is totally up to you! At home lifestyle sessions are a favorite among my clients, they love the natural, candid style that an at home session offers. My team and I all come to you (this includes hair and makeup.) However, studio sessions also show all of the love and joy during this special time in your life. If Mom and Dad don’t want to be a part of the session (which I highly recommend due to the LOVE and emotion that is captured) I do recommend a studio session if it is for baby only or twin babies. Studio sessions are a little more posed and focus on the baby’s tiny details like their sweet face, fingers, ears, eyelashes, feet and tiny toes.
What if I deliver early?
Delivering your baby, or twin babies, early is very common. We will set your session date on my calendar; however, I always leave an open date on my calendar each week for babies that show up a little bit early. Newborn sessions are weekdays at 10:00 AM. Studio or At Home Lifestyle.
What if I’m breastfeeding and it takes a long time?
This is normal and why a newborn session can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. It’s not so much the picture taking, but the baby care that is required for a newborn session. I only plan one session a day, that way you are never rushed, and we will have plenty of time to make sure your baby, or twin babies, have full tummies and are warm and happy.
