Oh my goodness. Is there anything better than being a newborn photographer? Just one. Being a newborn twins photographer! Benjamin and Matthew were seriously the cutest babies ever. I couldn’t keep my eyes (or my lens) off of them! Mom and Dad brought these sweet twins to my photography studio near Christmas time. I loved every minute I got to spend with them, and I’m so excited to show you their pictures!
Twins Newborn Photographer
When I did big brother’s newborn pictures, we did a shot with him in a stocking. Since it was so close to Christmas time, we recreated that image with the twins. Aren’t they adorable?
Photographing newborns is a skill that requires lots of training and practice. And photographing twins brings some unique challenges with it. Whenever I’m working with two babies at once I always have an assistant to help me pose the little ones while keeping them safe and comfortable at all times. An extra pair of hands is invaluable to a twins photographer!
Studio or Lifestyle?
We did this particular session at my newborn studio in Houston, but Mom and Dad could also have chosen to do a lifestyle session. They both have pros and cons, so it’s a matter of personal preference. With a studio session, you have access to all the cute props–and I have lots! The trip to the studio is often the first outing parents make with the new little one (or two!) which can be kind of fun if you’re feeling ambitious! Lifestyle sessions, on the other hand, allow you to stay in the comfort of your home during the entire photo-shoot. This is a popular option with many parents as it bypasses the stress of packing up and going anywhere. Whichever you choose, I’ll do everything I can to make it a fantastic experience, and I know you’ll fall completely in love with the finished images.
