What do I wear to my photography session?

This is the number 1 question that I get from my photography clients and I am here to help! To begin, we want to make your session about you, and your family. The colors, the style, and your photography location will be a big factor in what to wear. Below are some helpful tips that we will go over during your pre-session consultation:

1. Hair & Makeup – Analisa Hastings and her amazing team share a studio location with Shannon Reece Jones Photography, in order to serve our clients best. However; they will come to you. This is a perfect option for new moms that aren’t quite ready to leave their home just yet with their newborn baby. Analisa’s style is classic, pretty, and elegant. All of the images below are from the fabulous ladies on her team.
2. What do I wear? This is going to depend on you, the colors in your home, where you want to display your wall art and your style. There are options in the studio (featured below); or Shannon will guide you on client favorites such as Free People and Vici.
3. Your attire will depending on the type of session that we are working on. For example: a long Maternity gown is always beautiful on an expectant mother; while the popular maxi dress is a favorite for family sessions.
