Q. Where do sessions take place?

Maternity sessions are at our studio in The Woodlands, TX or a local nature preserve. Newborn sessions can be in-studio or at home for lifestyle sessions. We’ll chat to find the best fit for you and your family.

Most maternity sessions take place between 28-33 weeks. We do book maternity sessions as early as 12 weeks, and it is common that Shannon knows that you are expecting before you even tell your friends and family.

Q. When should I schedule my maternity session?

Reach out as soon as possible! My calendar fills up months in advance, and early booking helps secure your dates on our calendar.

Q. When should I book my newborn session?

Q. Can I add a maternity session if I book newborn session?

Absolutely! Most moms reserve both sessions together. Newborn sessions are tentatively scheduled about 14 days after your due date and can be adjusted as needed.

Q. Can I add in other family members?

Of course! These are your portraits and you are welcome to add your family... fur-babies included!
