From a shy girl who moved a lot (from California to Indonesia), to a working Mom with a background in business, advertising and marketing... somehow I found my path to this successful photography business. Today, I'm thankful; and know how blessed I am, to get to work with, teach, and photograph, beautiful souls like you.

As Mommy to 3 babies (big-babies now... 15, 13 and 10) I know how quickly time passes. I know that those tiny toes and sweet smiles turn into big kids faster than we want them to.
As your photographer; I am here to help freeze time for just a little while. You will leave with a beautiful portrait of your family, and will always be able to go back and remember this special season of your life.

My photography style is a combination of traditional portraiture mixed with natural posing and real emotions. I offer portrait, sunset, studio, and in-home lifestyle sessions. Almost a decade ago, I started the SRJ photography studio in my home office, photographing friends and family. I'll always be forever grateful for the local support that I had in the very beginning, and that you all still give me to this day.
Today, I love working with new SRJP families, and am over the moon to now be teaching other photographers how to do this too. It's a blessing, and a career... that I know came from something bigger than me.
However we met, or if we are going to meet soon, please know that I adore each and every family that I have photographed, and so look forward to creating your family's memories too!

I'm a lefty, and love everything Christmas.
I have a crazy busy life full of family, marriage & 3 kids. I'm a soccer mom, cheer mom, & baseball/football mom. I rely carpools and friends to help manage the crazy, and couldn't do it all without all of our people. And to add to the crazy, I have 2 rescue dogs named Hope and Charlie... they are more high maintenance than my kids most days ;). I always appreciate good food, hot coffee, and anything chocolate. Interior design and home decor are on my Instagram feed — and there is nothing better than a brand new Restoration Hardware Catalog. My favorite meal? Pretty much anything. I'm not picky and just like when I don't have to cook ;).

Studio maternity sessions! We include hair and makeup, a studio wardrobe, and beautiful light. Creating custom printed portraits for new & expecting Mamas is the best part of my job.

Turning my 1:1 mentoring program, From Pretty to Profitable, into an online course has been an exciting journey. I'm learning how to create content, and put all of the pieces together, to help new photographers start their own photography studios.

not about
I'm not about doing things fast and furious. I'm all about patience, and taking time on things that matter.... editing and artwork included.

believe
I believe in filling my time with things that bring joy to my heart, and to others. I walk by faith, love with grace, and remember that we are all beautifully imperfect. I am an eternal optimist and never get tired of being around people who make me laugh.
