If you’re like most moms, you probably have beautiful baby pictures of your little ones. Maybe you’ve even done portrait sessions for them over the years as they’ve grown. 1. Your Babies Will Want Pictures of You

As moms, we want to be there for our kids. Always. But as much as we want to, and as much as we don’t want to think of our babies growing up and leaving the nest, they do grow up…so fast! Before you know it, they’ll be off to college and then creating families of their own. As their lives grow and change, they’ll want pictures from their childhood. Pictures of their parents and siblings. Pictures of themselves with the person who has always loved them–their mom.

2. You Are Usually the One Behind the Camera

Moms wear so many hats. And usually, photographer is one of them! When it comes to family photos and baby pictures, the mom is often the one behind the camera, making sure those moments are recorded. But you deserve to be in front of the camera too. To have your smile be part of the picture. With a mommy and me photography session, we can capture the genuine smiles of you and your babies together.

3. There is Nothing More Precious than the Mommy and Me Bond

When you become a mother, everything changes. When you hold your new baby in your arms for the first time, it’s hard to believe how much love your heart can suddenly hold. And even though that bond looks different at each new stage of life, it’s still there. No matter how much your kiddos grow and change, they will always be your babies. That also means that it’s always the perfect time for a mommy and me photography session. No matter what age your children are, you’ll always be glad you have beautiful images of your relationship with them.

How Does a Mommy and Me Photography Session Work?

First, we’ll chat about details. We’ll decide whether you want your session to take place in your home, at my Conroe, Texas studio, or in one of the beautiful outdoor locations around Houston. We’ll talk about how you hope to use your images so we can get the perfect photos for albums, framed photos, or canvas prints. And we’ll go over things like what to wear and how to get ready.

When it’s time for your session, we’ll get together in whatever location you’ve chosen and make some memories! If you’ve never done a photoshoot with SRJP before, you may be a little nervous, but there’s absolutely no reason to be. I’ll help you and your little ones to feel relaxed and natural, and assist with any posing. Mostly though, a mommy and me photography session is just a time for you to play and cuddle and laugh together. I’ll be there to capture all the precious moments!

After your session we’ll get together again–this time for your viewing and ordering appointment. This is where you’ll finally see the finished images of you and your babies together so you can decide which ones to keep, and whether you want a keepsake album, wall art, or both. Bring tissues!
