I recently posted on social media a few fun facts about Shannon Reece Jones Photography so new clients could get to know my business a bit better. But, of course, it’s also nice to get to know your photographer as a person! So here goes:

5 Years

I’m a busy mom–just like you! I have three gorgeous kiddos that are growing up faster than I can keep up with. (Check out my previous post for the latest pictures of my little trio–can’t help showing them off!) Just know that I know what it’s like to be a mom, and I’m always happy to share stories, listen–whatever you need.

Although I love being behind the camera, I’m not as big a fan of being in front of it. So if you’re nervous about portraits, I get it. I do make sure to get professional photos done regularly and to make sure I get into family photos though. It’s worth it!

I prefer one-on-one time with friends to getting together in big groups. Maybe that’s one of the reasons I love spending time with individuals and families as a photographer too!

I’m left-handed. Helps with the creative side, maybe?

A few of my guilty pleasures are country music, good wine, and chocolate. Who’s with me?

My goal as a photographer is to create images you can look back on decades later and still treasure–while also encouraging you to take the time now to cuddle your babies, love on your family, and live in the moment!
