This time of year always puts me in that back-to-school mindset. So today’s sample gallery is of a girl’s high school senior session I did earlier this year for a lovely young woman who is headed off to university and brand new adventures!

Sample Gallery of a Girl’s High School Senior Session
For this particular session we chose a beautiful outdoor location here in the Houston, Texas area. The trees and water made for such a dreamy backdrop! However, I’ve also done senior sessions in my studio, at the grad’s school, and at favorite locations like downtown Houston or Galveston Beach. It really just depends on what kind of look you’re going for.
Every senior session is different, but I like to get as many different kinds of images as possible so they can be used as graduation announcements, gifts for family and friends, and keepsakes for parents and seniors as life starts to head in a new direction.
Typically, we’ll get these types of photographs:
Senior Portraits
Obviously these make up the bulk of our session. I make sure there’s time for an outfit change or two (and we can also visit more than one location) so that your gallery has plenty of variety.
Family Photos
I also like to get a few photos of the whole family to commemorate this special life season. This can include parents, siblings, pets—whoever wants to join in!
Portraits of the Senior with Each Parent Individually
I love these images that show the special relationship between a beautiful young woman and each of her parents.

If you ask me, every senior needs a framed photo of her mom and dad to give her a glimpse of love and encouragement whenever she needs it!
Things to Consider for Your Girl’s High School Senior Session
From location to outfits, I’m here to make every step of the process feel fun and effortless. I have outfits in the studio that you are welcome to choose from, or I can help you style your own. Plus, hair and makeup services are offered right here at the studio. Or stylists can come to you!
As with every session, my goal is to create custom artwork for you to cherish. Following your photography session, you’ll attend your design appointment, where you’ll choose the portraits that you love and we will turn them into beautiful printed artwork and graduation announcements.
