Would you like to know the perfect way to add a little love to your newborn photography session? Grandparent and baby photos.
Including Grandparents in Your Newborn Photography Session
If grandparents are in town for baby’s birth or to help out afterwards, don’t miss the wonderful opportunity to include them in your baby and family portraits. Newborn sessions usually take place 6-12 days after the little one is born. This means that grandparents staying for a week or two to help out afterwards will still be in town. And the time of their visit will overlap beautifully with your scheduled session!
Grandparents are always welcome in the studio if we are doing your newborn session there. And if you do have extended family in town for little one’s arrival, you might consider a lifestyle session. This can be the perfect choice since it takes place in your home. You and your visitors can simply relax and be comfortable while we capture all those precious moments.
Memories are the Best Gifts
Adding a grandparent page to your newborn album makes it all the more special and helps tell the story of your family. And a framed portrait of three generations, or simply a grandparent and their new grandbaby, are heirlooms that will be irreplaceable someday.
If you’re planning on using some of your photos as gifts for grandparents, they will be all the more special and meaningful when they capture that special relationship. Order an extra album for grandma and grandpa, or present them with a framed print they can add to their home—so their grandbaby is always close.
