Grandparents

A Lifestyle Newborn Session

Grandparents are so special and I am in LOVE with this precious newborn session. This was an at home session; which in the photography world we call a Lifestyle Newborn Photography session. Both grandma and grandpa were in town visiting and were in love. 

We started the session with Grandma, then took pictures with Mom and baby, and then of course got some with grandpa and dad. Afterwards, I was sure to photograph this sweet baby girl and all of her pretty features including her hair, and fingers and toes.

There are a few pieces in the baby’s nursery that the grandparents had given this sweet girl, so we were sure to incorporate them into the session. There was the angel pillow that the baby is laying on and the sweet little hat and outfit as well.

As your photographer, I am always sure to bring props with me as needed, but for babies, these are always tiny and pretty. I have newborn wraps, tiebacks and little outfits if needed for baby girls and boys.

These pictures with Grandpa are my favorite. If this was my dad, I would put this one in a frame in my home for sure.

The baby’s mom ordered (2) albums. One for her, and one for grandma, and they are both going to be custom made and absolutely beautiful. A keepsake for sure.

And just a little note: family, maternity and newborn sessions do book several months in advance. For newborn sessions, please be sure to contact me while you are pregnant. Maternity sessions take place between 33-36 weeks. Newborn sessions take place when your baby is 6-12 days old. There are a limited number of sessions each month so please contact me as soon as your can to reserve you date and session time. I can’t wait for your session!
