A newborn session at home is a favorite for so many of my families. They are absolutely my style and I love everything about them.

5 Reasons Why I Love Lifestyle Sessions

Home.

Mom, you just had a baby, you don’t have to go anywhere. There is no stress, no packing a diaper bag or forgetting anything. Another perk , your hair and makeup artist will come to your home prior to your session.

You.

This is real life, this is what you look like and where you live. In 30 years you will want to look back and remember where you were. Your children will want to see what they looked like and what you and your husband looked like. Through these images, they will be able to see their room, your room, and their home. Fur babies are always welcome as well.

Real.

Love, tears, or whatever is happening in your home, it will show in your images. If your 2 year old is jealous, it may show. And, if you are filled with emotion and tears in your eyes, it will show. The best parts…when  your sweet newborn baby girl is just looking at you, it will be captured for you. I love the raw emotions that are documented in lifestyle sessions.

Forever.

This is a memory that you can look back on in 60 years. You will be able to show your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren these images. Framed prints are a beautiful way to treasure these moments, along with other heirloom products that I will show you at your ordering appointment.

Nap.

When we are done, everyone can take a nap. You don’t have to drive home, worry about feeding the baby before you get in the car, or a tired toddler. Everyone can eat lunch and rest. A few hours later, I will send you a sneak peek, just like this…
