How to Open A Photography Business… a little background first….when I opened the doors to my group mentoring, From Pretty to Profitable, I had a lot of photographers reach out, asking for a beginners course. They weren’t quite ready to sell artwork, but do want to offer just digital images… and that’s ok, you will all get there! Until then, I made my first beginners guide just for you. It’s a little guide to help you open your business doors, and have a list of baby steps to get you on the right track.
It’s Simple!
Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks. If this is your dream, you can do this too. it’s actually pretty simple, and you will learn everything in about 20 minutes. You can implement these steps over a few months, or over a few weeks. Just remember, this is your journey, no one else’s… so don’t compare yourself to others. We all drove to the court-house to get our DBA’s too ;).

I’m a Mom too…
As a busy Mommy to 3 babies, I know how fast time goes by. I know that those tiny toes and sweet smiles turn into big kids faster than we want them to. I know that you are busy with work, and life, and everything in between, so I am here to help with all of the tiny details.
We have a team that will do you hair and makeup, they will even come to your home before your session so that you don’t have to leave the house. I have outfits that you are welcome to borrow from the studio wardrobe, or I am happy to help you choose your own outfits if you prefer to have something special to wear again. You are welcome to come to the studio for your portrait session, or I will come to you. We will make this entire experience stress free, simple, and the outcome is beautiful artwork. Before your session, we will plan all of the details, and I will walk you through each step so you don’t have to worry about a thing. After you session, you get to see your entire gallery and choose what you love. I will create your artwork for you, help you decide on the best style and products for you, and even the best sizes for your walls. I can’t wait for your session!
