Merry Christmas! I hope you are all feeling cozy and festive and that you are with loved ones today. Since today is such a special one, I decided it would be fun to celebrate by sharing a few of my favorites from this year’s Santa sessions at my studio in the Woodlands. Hope these bring a smile!

These sessions are all about the experience, so we do milk and cookies, prayers with Santa, playing with toys, etc. Reading a Christmas story with Santa has become a studio favorite, as you can see. And the kiddos’ pajamas–too cute.

Who knew Santa could dance? He really is more versatile than even I give him credit for!

I’ve been working with Santa for years now, and I love how he just rolls with whatever comes up. I feel like during this most recent round of holiday sessions all the babies 3-9 months did fantastic. With the slightly older little ones (around 18 months to 3 years) it really depended on the kiddo. They either LOVED Santa…or they really didn’t. And yet we still managed to get adorable and memorable photos regardless!

This year’s weekend of Santa sessions was absolutely amazing! It was wonderful to see so many of my families in the studio, and oh what fun it was to edit these collections of images and create beautiful Christmas portraits.
