About Shannon
To sum up my background, I was just a shy girl who started with film photography as a hobby because I moved a lot and wanted to remember things. From Huntington Beach, CA to Jakarta, Indonesia (where I went to middle school) I ended up in Houston, TX (for high school) and went off to college to study advertising and marketing.
Lots of life happened… I got married, worked in the corporate world for over a decade, had 3 babies in 5 years, moved a bunch of times for my husband’s career, and then decided to start a photography business, to work with families like you!
I am a believer in kindness, faith, diversity, love, and family… whatever that looks like to you. Life is short and sweet, and time goes by way to fast, and that’s why I’m here, to create memories for you and your family… so you can look back, share your story, and remember too.

When I was a little girl, I remember going to my grandparent’s house and being excited to look at the pictures. They had a long hallway with built-in shelves along the bottom of the hall and it was filled with framed pictures. There were larger frames hanging above the shelves on the walls, and painted artwork in the bedrooms. The art made the home so full of LOVE. I loved to see what my parents looked like when they were children, and what my great-grandparents looked like in the black and white photographs. I also loved to see how much my children look like their relatives. It was all so very sentimental to me. My kids love to see the pictures and it is special to them as well. This is my why, and how I came to find my brand and offer the products I have for you.
