One of the things I love about Houston is that the climate is warm enough that nearly every time of year is the perfect time for an outdoor family session! Today’s sample gallery is of a beautiful family session that I did in the springtime. I just love these sweet and beautiful portraits!

Every family is unique, and depending on how large your family is, how old (or young!) children are, and whether you’re including extended family members and/or pets, we will customize your outdoor family session so that it’s perfect for your group.
Typically though, you can expect to get these types of photographs:
Family Group Posed
These are the photos everyone thinks of when you mention a family session. These classic family portraits can be beautiful when they feel relaxed—which is what I always aim for in my sessions!
Family Group Candid
Some of my favorite family images are those that just happen. During an outdoor family session—especially with littles—you can spend time walking, playing, laughing, and just interacting naturally together. I’ll be there with my camera to catch every sweet moment.
Sibling Portraits
If there’s more than one child in the family, I always like to do some sibling portraits. Siblings are some of the most influential people in our lives—and can be our best friends. I love capturing that relationship!
One-on-One
I also love to capture images of each child and their parent(s) one-on-one. As a mom, I know that the relationship you have with each child is a little bit different—and they are all equally precious!
Small Group Photos
We usually think of family portraits being the whole family, but it can be fun to create small grouping within that unit. For example, one of Dad and his boys or Mom and all her babies.
Couples Portraits
You don’t have to book a separate session to have beautiful images of you and your spouse!
Individual Portraits
Even though this is a family session, I like to take time to photograph each individual separately. Every person, with their unique characteristics and spirit, is essential to your family, and it’s always a delight to highlight that!

As with every session, my goal is to create custom artwork for you to cherish. Following your photography session, you’ll attend your design appointment, where you’ll choose the portraits that you love and we will turn them into beautiful printed artwork and keepsake albums for you and your family to treasure.
