As a Houston newborn photographer, I often travel to clients’ homes for their newborn sessions. I do have a newborn photography studio in The Woodlands, TX; however, some new moms are still recovering from their delivery, and aren’t quite ready to make the drive. If that’s you, don’t worry at all! We call these newborn sessions at home newborn lifestyle sessions.

How does an at home newborn session work? To begin, we will do some planning. I will ask you to send me a few pictures of the baby’s nursery. This helps when I come to you because I will bring wraps for the baby that match the colors in your home. I also have a studio wardrobe for mom, and I will bring your dress to you as well. Even better? Hair and makeup will come to you as well!

Everyone is Welcome

Another benefit of an at home newborn session is that everyone that you love is welcome. Grandparents, fur babies, siblings, and more! I always tell my families that his is like a baby-wedding. We will make sure that we get a portrait of everyone holding the baby, and group portraits as well!

And the best part about at home lifestyle sessions is that I love that I can see your walls. This will help when we create your wall art at your ordering appointment. I will also be able to help you match your album to your color scheme at home and we will create the perfect portraits for you and your home.
