I hope these pictures with Santa transport you back to the holidays! I can’t believe it’s already been a month since Christmas. 2019 was a great year and I’m excited for all the great things I’m sure 2020 will bring. But for now, let’s rewind a few weeks and get in that festive mood again.
Pictures with Santa
I hold Christmas sessions–including pictures with Santa, every year. It’s a favorite tradition for me and many of my clients. Santa sessions are held at my photography studio in the Woodlands, and it’s always a wonderful time. The kids love it! I try to make it a great Christmas memory as well as a photo session. They get to meet Santa Claus and whisper in his ear what they want for Christmas, and he makes sure to double check that their names are on the nice list. Of course, they always are!
I also provide milk and cookies, and the kids get to say a prayer with Santa before they enjoy treats together. So cute! Milk and cookies with Santa are the best!
As always, the kiddos were adorable. Loved the cute outfits, whether they were fancy dresses or festive pajamas. With their sweet faces and big smiles, these kiddos looked like they were ready to star in a Christmas classic.
Most of the little ones love Santa (there was one baby in particular this year who didn’t stop smiling the whole time), but occasionally someone isn’t sure about it. This year, Santa had to step out of the room at one point so we could get a tear-free picture with one little girl who didn’t think pictures with Santa were any fun at all! That’s okay. She liked cookies, and since I had plenty of those on hand we still managed to coax a smile out of her.
I have a collection of children’s Christmas stories that I bring out near the holidays so that Santa can read a book with the kiddos. Story time at the studio is always fun. And finding the North Pole on my big globe is a must.
