You know you want to do a professional senior photo session. So, what are your options? Every photographer is different, but at Shannon Reece Jones Photography, you can expect a customized experience that tailored especially for you. Here are some of our session options for seniors:
Studio and Outdoor Session Locations
With our beautiful Texas weather, we can do your senior portraits outdoors at a variety of locations. I’ve done senior photo sessions at parks, on school grounds, or in the graduate’s own backyard. I also offer senior photography at my Conroe, Texas photo studio. You’re welcome to bring props, a school uniform or graduation cap–whatever will help make it personal and unique to you!
Senior-Only or Family Sessions
Another thing to consider is who you want to include in your senior photo session. We can absolutely make it senior only. But we can also make it a family affair and have parents, siblings, and even pets join in the fun! Graduation often marks the point at which you strike out on your own, so it’s a great idea to get some family portraits while you’re all still together.
Clothes
What to wear may be the first question on your mind when planning your senior photo session. With many photographers, you’re on your own in this area. But with SRJP, I’m happy to help you style outfits with clothes from home. I even have outfits at the studio that you’re welcome to choose from. I want you to be comfortable and feel your best in whatever you wear!
Hair and Makeup
Again, not every senior photography offers hair and makeup options, but graduation photos are a special occasion, and you deserve some pampering! I partner with talented hair and makeup artists who can help you with makeup that feels like you and will also photograph well. We can schedule this portion of your senior photo session at the studio or at your home.
If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the choices, don’t worry! All of my sessions include a pre-session consultation where we can discuss options and decide on the best plan for you.
After Your Senior Photo Session
Once we’ve completed your senior photo session, the fun doesn’t end there! You’ll come back to the studio after I’ve edited and curated your collection of images, and choose your favorites. (Speaking of favorites, I love this part! It’s so rewarding to watch my clients as they see their finished images for the first time. I always recommend that mamas bring tissues–it’s a special experience!) No matter what senior portrait session options you choose, you will love your finished images!
