More About Shannon Reece Jones Photography
They say (whoever “they” are) that you are supposed to post pictures of yourself on your website, blog, and social media so that your clients can see you, get to know you, and learn more about you. This is something I don’t do often; but as we’re still near the beginning of this year, I thought I would pop on and introduce you to your photographer! This post is to say hello, give a big THANK YOU to all of my sweet clients, and share a little bit more about myself…

More about your photographer: Shannon Reece Jones
1. I don’t like to be in front of the camera
Lots of people have Instagram accounts where the pictures are all of them, in their cute outfits, with their cute friends, etc. My Instagram account for business ( @shannonreecejonesphotography ) is pictures of everyone else. Mostly my beautiful clients, although occasionally I’ll share a more personal post with a family picture. I prefer to be behind the camera but I do hop into pics from time to time for my own family portraits, because I think it’s so important for moms to be in those family pictures!
2. I’m a lefty
Maybe that helps with the creative side ;)?
3. I have 3 babies
Okay, okay, they’re big kids now. But they will always be my babies! My hope is that that my clients (especially my moms of newborns) know that I have been through it all (from pregnancy to raising teenagers) and am always happy to share stories and listen.
4. My photography style is classic, forever, and real.
I love images that you will be able to look back on in 25 years and be thankful you have. At the same time, I want you to be fully present in this moment, cuddling your babies and loving on your family while I capture all of the emotion that is in your home.
5. I prefer small groups and 1:1 time with friends vs. huge groups
I value relationships that are meaningful and special. And I bring this same love of connection to my business. I love my clients and am so grateful for each and every one of you.
Your Photographer
My job is to take pretty pictures and make sure you have these moments to hold on to always. I hope you always feel safe and comfortable with me while inviting me into your homes and lives to capture your forever memories. I am so thankful for my clients and can’t wait for the new ones too!
Lots of Love!
