It’s almost Friday friends! They say (whoever “they” are) that you are supposed to post pictures of yourself on social media so that your clients can see you, get to know you, and learn more about you.
Marketing 101 here.
This is something that I don’t do often; but in the heart of this busy season, I thought I would pop on and say hi, THANK YOU to all of my sweet clients, and to share a little bit more about myself…
More about your photographer; Shannon Reece Jones
1. I don’t like to be in front of the camera.
Lots of people have instagram accounts were the pictures are all of them, cute outfits, cute friends, etc…. my instagram accounts are either my business @shannonreecejonesphotography (pictures of everyone else) or personal @shannonleereecejones (and mostly all of my kids.) I prefer to be behind the camera but I do hop into pics from time to time for my own family portraits.
2. I’m a lefty.
Maybe that helps with the creative side ;)?
3. I have 3 babies (10, 8, and 5).
My hope is that that my clients (especially newborn) know that I have been through it all (from pregnancy to now) and am always happy to share stories and listen.
4. My photography style is classic, forever, and real.
I love images that you will be able to look back on in 25 years and be thankful you have. At the same time, I want you to cuddle your babies, and love on your family while I capture all of the emotion that is in your home.
5. What I prefer is small groups of people and 1:1 time with friends vs. huge groups.
I value relationships that are meaningful and special. I love my clients and am so grateful for each and every one of you.

My job is to take pretty pictures. I hope you always feel safe and comfortable with me, while inviting me into your homes, and lives to capture your forever memories. I am so thankful for my clients and can’t wait for the new ones too!
