Is there anything better than baby pictures? I don’t think so! I loved doing the studio newborn photos for this sweet family as they welcomed their little girl. It’s always a pleasure to see return clients, and I had worked with this family before. When big brother was just a newborn himself, we did a lifestyle session at their home. Here are just a couple of the photos from that photo session. Love it!
Studio Newborn Photography
Lifestyle sessions are a great choice–especially for a first baby–and I absolutely love doing them, but sometimes taking photos at the studio is a better fit. In this case, we knew big brother would only last so long. Kiddos often love posing for the camera, but they have short attention spans, and if they’re not involved in a shot they can easily become bored. I had the whole family meet me at the studio and we started out with family shots and daddy-daughter pictures. Brother was clearly in love with his new little sister and did a wonderful job posing for me. He was happy to snuggle baby sister, smother her with kisses, and try to get her to wrap her hand around his fingers. They are so cute together! (It was super fun to see brother again. He’s grown so much! I think he looks a lot like his mama. And he has the best smile!)
After brother’s part was over, dad took him home and mom stayed at the studio so we could focus on exclusively newborn photos. This baby girl is beautiful! I loved capturing every little detail of her baby perfection in these studio newborn photos. From her feathery hair to her tiny pink toes, she is a perfect little bundle of joy!

This allows me to better comply with health and safety guidelines and make sure the studio is squeaky clean for your photos! Maternity sessions take place between 33-36 weeks. Newborn sessions take place when your baby is 6-12 days old. (For newborn sessions, please be sure to contact me while you are pregnant.) Because the number of sessions is limited, please contact me as soon as possible to reserve a date and time. I can’t wait for your session!
