Sneak Peek Sunset Maternity Photo Session
I recently had the pleasure of doing a sunset maternity photo session for a friend. I knew her in my Dallas days, and was so happy when she contacted me about doing her maternity pictures. She is expecting a little girl after two boys and is so excited! We did her maternity photo session in Terry Hershey Park near sunset. It’s a gorgeous location with many great places to photograph. I’m still working on editing these images, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this quick sneak peek!
It was wonderful to get together with this lovely lady! She chose a lacy pink maternity gown that was so flattering to her hair color and skin tone. I love the way it stands out against the darker colors of the leaves and branches. Sunset maternity sessions are some of my favorites! I can’t wait to meet the new little one and celebrate this latest addition to a beautiful family!

It’s been a busy year and I’m already booking into fall. If you’re interested in a session, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can get your date scheduled! For maternity sessions, it’s generally best to do photos between 32 and 34 weeks. This is the best time to capture that beautiful baby bump. Although sessions can be scheduled later, pregnancy can become more uncomfortable after 35 weeks. Plus, you never know if baby will decide to arrive early! You are welcome to contact me to plan your maternity session as early as 12 weeks. We’ll meet at the studio beforehand to discuss styling, location, and any other ideas you have for your session. This is another reason it’s important to plan early. Wardrobe, hair and makeup are included in some of my packages and we’ll need to set up appointments for those as well.
