Shannon Reece Jones is a full service photographer in Houston, TX. Shannon takes pictures of expecting mothers, newborn babies & families (including seniors) in the greater Houston area. Locations include: Bellaire, Conroe, Cypress, Galveston, Lake Livingston, Magnolia, Memorial, Montrose, North Houston, Rice Village, River Oaks, Spring, Tomball, Uptown, The Heights, The Woodlands & West University Place. WHY THIS CLASS?
As a mom, I take way too many pictures of my kids (i phones, cameras, video, everything!!) But I love them and I want to remember it all. As a portrait photographer, I do value the quality of a fine art image, and I treasure the photography that I create, but I do understand that there is joy in the everyday that needs to be captured as well. This is another reason that I love lifestyle photography (I’ll cover that a little in this class as well.) During my normal routine, I run into friends with children who always ask me questions on how to take better pictures of their kids. Soccer, gymnastics, or on their family vacation, they want to know how to get that “blurry background” or a sharper image. This class will help with all of those techniques.
ABOUT THIS CLASS!
After a lot of conversations with friends and clients, I have decided to teach this class! It will be laid back, fun, and we will cover all of the basics. You will need a “fancy camera” with a lens that you can put on manual mode. I won’t cover editing (Lightroom or photoshop) in this class, but if I have enough interest, that can be round 2 of this SHOP later on!! For now, here are the details:
