Every baby is unique and different, which is why I’m pleased to offer multiple options when it comes to deciding what to do for baby’s one year pictures. These really are the sweetest! If you’re able to capture that big first year milestone, you (and your little one) will treasure those images forever!

Every Baby is Unique

Since every baby is different, parents sometimes ask “what if?” “What if my baby isn’t walking yet?” “What if my baby is shy and I’m not sure how she’ll do in front of a camera?” My answer is, Don’t worry! The important thing is recording your sweet kiddo as they are now. Because some babies will be walking at this age, while others may just be sitting up. Some babies will be using recognizable words at this point, and others are still very much in the babbling stage. And that’s okay! It really doesn’t matter. Each baby does things in their own time. And I’m honored to capture this special season of life for them and for you–whatever it looks like.

One Year Pictures

Baby’s one year pictures can be done all on their own, with the focus completely on them. Or, we can include family members. A one year session is actually a great time to get professional portraits of your whole family. And we can also do it wherever is most comfortable for you. The studio is at your disposal, or we can get pictures of everyone in one of the many beautiful outdoor locations Houston has to offer.

Baby’s First Year

Of course, while one year pictures are wonderful, they’re even better if they’re part of a series! From your maternity and newborn session, to your 6 month and one year baby pictures–or any combination thereof–it’s my pleasure to document your family’s precious moments and memories.
