My Favorite Furniture Stores in Houston
As a Houston newborn photographer and mom of three, I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns in beautiful homes throughout Houston. I’ve had the opportunity to see everything from classic neutral nurseries to colorful modern designs, and these are the stores I recommend most often to my clients.
Baby’s and Kid’s 1st
Baby’s and Kid’s 1st is one of the most popular spots to purchase furniture and other essentials for the nursery. Located on Richmond, near the Galleria, this baby furniture store consistently gets rave reviews from parents. They have a great stock of quality brands and products, and staff members here are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are wonderful about answering questions and providing expert advice so you can find the perfect products for your home and family.
I also love this store because they make things so easy. And as a new parent, that is essential! When you shop baby furniture, it can get overwhelming quickly. Baby’s and Kid’s 1st does a great job of helping you navigate the whole process of furniture shopping. They’ll provide expert recommendations based on your needs, deliver furniture straight to your door, and even assist with assembly and maintenance of tricky items like car seats and strollers.
RH Baby and Child
RH Baby and Child is another one of my favorite places to shop baby furniture in Houston. This designer furniture store in Highland Village features tasteful, upscale contemporary collections for your little one’s room. If the modern look is the style you’re going for, be sure to pay them a visit! You’ll find high-end baby furniture plus lots of inspiration for beautiful room setups. I’m a huge fan of neutral colors, so I love their color palettes!
Pottery Barn Kids
It’s a classic for a reason! They have all kinds of gear, furniture, toys, and decor for your little one. Although the Highland Village location in Houston is now closed, their stylish offerings are available for purchase online. They also offer design services, so you can meet with their virtually and get mood boards, style recommendations, and room plans. It’s so nice to be able to see virtual room makeover so you can see how furniture will look in your little one’s nursery before you order it!
