I have to share a funny story that we talked about in my class today (I teach a beginners class for mom’s called “How to take better pictures of your kids.”)
A funny little story…
When I started out in photography, I decided that I was going to take my own family pictures for our Christmas cards one year. I snapped the picture below and worked on it for HOURS in photoshop. I could not for the life of me figure out why Addison (on the left) was so blurry and how to clear that up. Well…. that was an in-camera problem. My shutter speed was too slow for her and I had no clue – lol. But to this day, this is one of my favorite images. I just re-edited it in like 2 seconds, and it’s amazing how much I have learned in the past few years. Just goes to show that practice makes perfect, or imperfect, whatever you love the most.
The First Image was RAW – When I didn’t know what I was doing. The 2nd Images was fixed by me in post processing a few years later….
