Moms…
They should always be in the pictures too. They are always there.
At my newborn sessions there are new moms and they bring their Mom because they need them & at senior portrait sessions, Moms are there standing right next to me. At family sessions, most Moms want pictures of their kids, but I always capture some of just Mom as well. Moms are beautiful, strong, and the backbones of most families.
I helped a wedding photographer this weekend with a bridal shoot and both Moms (the bide and the groom) were there. It took me back to my bridal portraits. My Mom wasn’t there. She had breast cancer and had just gone though a terrible surgery. But my Mom’s best friend was with me. She helped me with my dress, and stood by my photographer the whole time. I’m actually going to take newborn photos of her new grand-daughter tomorrow.
No matter who your Mom is, biological or just a strong woman who steps into your life, she needs to be in your pictures too. You will be thankful you have them some day.

I am currently booking into October 2017 with very limited availability. I typically book Newborn Sessions about 6 months in advance, along with the Maternity Session as well. Family sessions usually book about 2-3 months in advance. If you, or someone you know is interested in booking with me, please be sure to contact me to get your date scheduled. It is also important to plan early; as wardrobe, hair and makeup are included in some of my packages and need to be scheduled as well.
