This was the sweetest newborn session at my clients’ home. They lived in Houston and now make a family of 3.

Most newborn sessions take place when baby is 7-14 days new; however, lifestyle sessions give a little more wiggle room, and baby can be as big as one month.

Location

Shannon offers newborn in-home sessions, as well as studio and outdoor sessions. We will work together to select the perfect location for your family. All outdoor sessions take place in the North Houston area prior to sunset. Newborn sessions located outside of the Houston area do require a travel fee.

Tips

Newborn sessions should be booked while you are pregnant and are best photographed 1-4 weeks after the baby is born. We will schedule a tentative date and time upfront, and then will adjust once the baby is born if we need to. The best time for a maternity session is between 28-32 weeks, when you look pregnant, and still feel great. Sessions per month are limited to guarantee the best quality and service. Be sure to reserve your date early as most clients do book 6 months in advance.
