For some new mamas, deciding what to wear is one of the fun parts of preparing for a newborn session. For others, it’s just one more thing they would rather not think about. No matter how you feel about choosing outfits, rest assured that we will be here to help you decide. We have lots of beautiful dresses for mom and wraps for baby, so if you don’t have a favorite outfit at home, we’re sure to have something you love!

While you’re selecting what to wear, don’t forget to choose dad’s outfit! Neutral colors are perfect, and a nice pair of jeans or slacks with a favorite button-up shirt or sweater makes a timeless and comfortable option for new fathers.

Every new mama could use some pampering. Before your newborn session, you’ll want to schedule your hair, makeup, and nails so you can look and feel stunning for photos. We provide professional hair and makeup services through Annalisa Hastings, so all you need to do is call. We’ll get you set up with an appointment for just before your session.

Prepping the Location

We offer both studio and at home lifestyle newborn photography. If you’ve chosen a lifestyle newborn session, you’ll just want to make sure that the nursery is decorated and tidy, as that’s where we’ll be doing most of our photos. If you’ve chosen a studio session, we’ll have the space all set up for you!
