So excited to share the photos from this latest lifestyle photography session! This was literally the best of both worlds: We did a studio session of their precious baby, and then mom and dad decided they wanted an at-home lifestyle session as well. I was happy to oblige! Lifestyle photography is my favorite, and I always love a chance to see my clients again.
Best of Both Worlds — Studio Session
This baby girl was so sweet during her studio session. She had the cutest chubby cheeks and the most squishable little face ever! How could you not fall in love with that? We wanted these photos to be very feminine as well as cute, so we used lots of flowers and beautiful shades of coral, pink, and cream. They turned out absolutely lovely.
We also did some composite shots. These are really popular and a great way to add variety to your newborn pictures. By putting two separate images together, I can create the impression that your little one is high in the air. These kinds of images are enchanting, but wouldn’t be safe without the magic of editing. As it is, baby is safe and secure the whole time, yet we can still get these magical pictures.
Best of Both Worlds — Lifestyle Photography Session
After our studio session, mom and dad decided they wanted some lifestyle photographs at their home in Cypress, Texas. Baby was already growing up fast and was 4 months old at the time of this session. Such a happy girl! She was wide awake and gave me the cutest smiles.
At the studio we had focused exclusively on the little one, but at home we were able to pose her with parents and grandparents, and show off her beautiful nursery. I love the way the two sessions balance and complement each other. It was a delight to create these beautiful art pieces for this family’s home! That’s the goal of each of my sessions: I want you to be able not only to cherish these memories, but to display them on canvas, and in frames and photo albums. These truly are your forever memories!
