Hi there! Welcome to the SRJ Photography blog. We're so glad you are here. feel free to stay a while and peek into some recent sessions. We can't wait for yours!

Hi, I'm Shannon.

Maternity Studio Portraits

with Shannon Reece Jones Photography

Maternity studio portraits are an expecting mom’s favorite, especially with the unexpected Houston weather. We can go from 80 degrees… to 40 degrees… in just a few hours. Houston can also turn pretty straight hair, into a frizzy mess in a matter of minutes… thankfully that’s why I have a photography studio. Studio maternity sessions give expecting moms comfort and peace in knowing that they don’t have to worry about the weather, especially in the summer (if you are from Houston, you know what I mean.)

More Maternity Options

A few additional benefits include access to the studio wardrobe, and mamas are welcome to make a few outfit changes. Expecting moms are also welcome to utilize both of the rooms in the photography studio. There is an all white, natural light room in the front of the studio… and a pretty canvas in the back where I use off camera flash (like the beautiful maternity studio portrait below.)
