I can’t believe Harey is one year old already! Time has flown by and I can’t believe how much he has grown. I have been the photographer for this cutie from before day one, since I did mom’s at-home maternity session when she was pregnant with him. We also did a newborn lifestyle session at their home after he arrived, and a six month family session at beautiful Hermann Park. It was so exciting to see him again for a one year studio photography session!
If you’ve explored my website you know that I gravitate toward neutral colors and love to incorporate light in my artwork. We did lots of that for Harey’s milestone photography shoot this time. He did such a wonderful job for me the whole time–lots of smiles! He has always been such a good-natured baby, and his personality is blossoming even more as he grows.
This handsome young man had already had his birthday cake, so we didn’t go for a cake smash, but that is always an option for birthday photo sessions like this. I offer a variety of backdrops for clients to choose from, and you can choose to do the cake smash on a cute floor or in a high chair. (Oh, and by the way, I highly recommend bringing an extra change of clothes for your little one. Things can get pretty messy with a cake smash–that’s part of the fun!) I have a sink at the studio that we can use to wash up afterwards.
Milestone studio photography is the perfect way to capture the exciting stages of your baby’s life as he or she grows. You truly don’t realize how quickly time passes until you’re looking back, so I encourage parents to invest in professional photos. It is well worth it to have quality artwork featuring your little one.
A very happy birthday to this precious little boy! I loved celebrating with him and recording this exciting time for him and his family to look back on.
location
I offer in-home, outdoor, and studio photography sessions. We will work together to select the perfect location for your family. All outdoor sessions take place in the North Houston area an hour or two before sunset. If you would like an in-home session and are located outside of the Houston area, please note that a travel fee applies.

I offer a limited number of sessions per month to guarantee the best quality and service, so be sure to reserve your date early! We will schedule a pre-session consultation to plan a customized session just for you. I always love when clients bring their ideas, questions, and creative vision!
