We are a boutique newborn photography studio specializing in providing a luxury experience for each of our clients. At SRJP, that means that we want to photograph your newborn wherever you feel most comfortable! For some clients, that’s in our beautiful studio in The Woodlands, where you’ll have access to our client wardrobe and a gorgeous selection of newborn props and outfits. For others, the best place for newborn photos is in the comfort of their own home. We’re happy to bring all the amenities of our newborn photography studio to you if you prefer a lifestyle session.
How to Decide Which Type of Session is Right for You
We’ll discuss all the details during your consultation. We’re happy to help you choose and make sure you feel confident about your decision. Here are a couple of things to consider:
How old baby will be ~ We recommend photographing baby at 5-10 days new for a newborn studio session, or 7-14 days new for an in-home lifestyle session.
Whether you have other children ~ We’re not just a newborn photography studio, but a family photography studio as well. Your session should be all about your family and the love you’re experiencing. We’re always delighted to welcome siblings and extended family members! If you have more than two children, we frequently recommend an at-home lifestyle session.

Our team of professionals will help you feel pampered and beautiful before your session begins.
Lighting
Our newborn studio is set up to provide the perfect lighting for your newborn photography session. We also have plenty of lighting equipment we can bring to your home, so no need to worry about whether your home has enough light.
Wardrobe
We can provide advice on what to wear, and offer you options from our client wardrobe. Choose something you love and feel comfortable and gorgeous in! When it comes to dressing baby, just put them in something soft and comfy. We’ll take care of changing them into outfits during the session.
