I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! The gorgeous weather and long evenings are perfect for outdoor photography of all kinds. Summer is an especially good time for sunset photography. I recently enjoyed doing a sunset baby photography session for this family and their little one, who just turned one year old. Here is a sneak peek from our session.
Sneak Peek Sunset Baby Photography Milestone Session
We held this outdoor photo shoot at one of my favorite locations. It’s a popular park near my studio in Houston, Texas. I’m always on the lookout for beautiful outdoor locations, and this place always delivers. I like to do outdoor photography at either sunset or sunrise. The light is gorgeous at those times of the day, and the temperature tends to be more comfortable. This session was just a few days away from summer equinox, so we took advantage of the lengthy evening to do a sunset session.
Since the birthday girl was the focus of our session, I got some pics of her with her balloons and one-year outfit. What a cutie! Outdoor photos are a great milestone option to record your little one as he/she grows. Childhood is so precious and fleeting. As a photographer, I love capturing that time.
This sunset baby photography session happened to fall on Father’s Day weekend. What better time to get photos of dad and baby together? Just look at that smile! It’s pretty clear that our birthday girl is also a daddy’s girl! We also got some mom and daughter pictures that turned out just as beautifully. It was a pleasure to spend time with this sweet family. I love the personalized artwork we were able to create together, and wish them many happy days ahead.
