Emily is two years old! I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed since I did her newborn pictures. What better way to celebrate her birthday than by sharing the maternity and newborn photos from two years ago? I absolutely loved the sunset maternity and lifestyle photography session I did for this family.
This little lady’s mom is one of my favorite clients. So sweet, and absolutely gorgeous! She looked stunning in our maternity photos.
This couple reached out to me when they knew they were expecting. I always encourage my clients to get in touch as soon as possible. It’s preferable to book your maternity session as early as 15-20 weeks into your pregnancy. We won’t hold the session until later (generally between 28-32 weeks), but booking early reserves your spot.
I love using my artwork to preserve this special time in my clients’ lives. Pregnancy is such a thrilling time, and it deserves to be captured in all its beauty and glow of excitement. I offer both studio and outdoor sunset maternity sessions, depending on my clients’ preferences. This family chose a sunset maternity photo session. We followed this with an at home newborn lifestyle photography after Emily’s arrival.
Lifestyle photos are some of my favorites! As a photographer, my goal is to create gorgeous artwork specific to you and your family. In my opinion, there is no better place to do that than within the walls of your own home. It was a pleasure to spend time with baby Emily and her parents in their home a few days after the birth. Being in my clients’ homes is always a wonderful experience. Recording their story in such a genuine and natural environment is a very special thing. Of course, there are also practical considerations too. Meeting in your home gives us a chance to explore options for wall art. I always enjoy discussing where pictures are going to be displayed. This allows me to create the perfect images for that space. I offer many artwork options, including museum quality wall art and heirloom albums. My art is of the highest quality and designed to last.

Location
Shannon offers newborn in-home sessions, as well as studio and outdoor sessions. We will work together to select the perfect location for your family. All outdoor sessions take place in the North Houston area prior to sunset. Newborn sessions located outside of the Houston area do require a travel fee.
Tips
Newborn sessions should be booked while you are pregnant. We will schedule a tentative date and time, then adjust once baby is born if needed. The best time for a maternity session is between 28-32 weeks, when you look pregnant, and still feel great. Sessions per month are limited to guarantee the best quality and service, so be sure to reserve your date early!
