What do I do with my baby’s pictures?

As a Houston maternity & newborn photographer, the question that I get asked the most, is…

“Shannon, what do we do with all of our baby’s pictures? We love them all!”

As a portrait photographer, this is my most favorite part!

Maternity & Newborn

Maternity and newborn galleries typically end up with 50-100 images. That’s a lot of baby pictures if you don’t have a plan.

What I recommend is that you choose your absolute favorites, and we print them.

We can frame them and make a beautiful gallery wall like the one below, or you can choose more, and make a 20-40 page album, like the one displayed below as well…

Family Sessions

Family portrait sessions typically come to me for wall art, including frames and our beautiful gallery wrapped canvas. However, some families order pretty print boxes that display anywhere from 10-30 fine art prints. Popular sizes include 5×7 matted to 8×10 and 8×10 matted to 11×14.

What about the rest?

After printing their favorite portraits, most families also choose the digital collection which includes as keepsake box with all of the gift prints from their session. These include either a 4×6 or 5×7, as well as a keepsake box, and a USB. I always recommend backing up their digital images onto another form of technology like dropbox or google photos.
