Maternity Session and Gender Reveal
I was so thrilled to see this family again for a maternity session and gender reveal! This couple are both physicians in Houston whom I met when I did their son’s lifestyle newborn pictures at their home. As you can see, it’s been a while! Their little man has gotten so big. He’s adorable, and I loved that he still had that full head of gorgeous dark hair.
For this maternity session, we met at a beautiful park in Spring, Texas. Outdoor maternity photography can be just as much of a luxury experience as doing it in the studio or at home. There is nothing to rival the beauty of the outdoors. And of course, you can still have the full experience of choosing outfits from the studio wardrobe, getting your hair and makeup professionally done, and having gorgeous finished artwork. We had decided to make this both a maternity session and gender reveal, so that added an extra element of fun! Mom was convinced this little one was a boy, so she was so excited (and surprised) that it was a girl! She said, “I have to get out the papers and check. I don’t believe it!”

Newborn Sneak Peek
I can’t resist sharing a couple of sneak peeks from baby girl’s newborn photo session! I welcomed her to the studio just last week, along with all the family. Isn’t she the sweetest?
Their nanny is also a special part of this family’s life, and she joined us for pictures as well. I loved that she was included! It’s so hard finding someone to love on your kids the way you do–someone you can truly trust with them. When you find the right fit they really do become part of the family.
