Why Maternity?

New moms often call me and are so excited to be expecting! They are decorating the nursery, buying all of the cute baby outfits, and planning for the baby shower. But one thing they don’t want to forget is a pretty portrait of baby’s parents… this is a maternity session ;).

They Will Ask

When your sweet baby girl or boy grows up, they will look back on their pictures & ask all of the questions.

Mom? What did you look like when you were pregnant with me? She will want to see her glowing Mommy, and how big she was in your belly ;). He will want to see his dad, how excited he was, and the love that surrounded this special time in their life.

Studio Vs. Outdoor

New moms are welcome to plan a studio maternity session, or an outdoor portrait session. Your style should be true to you, and what you would like to do with your printed portraits. Some families frame beautiful portraits in their home, while others display them in keepsake albums. At home lifestyle is a popular option for moms that are on bed rest as well.
